Brad Davis, a fantastic guitarist, is the creator of the coveted “double-down up†flatpicking technique that nearly sets his acoustic guitar aflame! Brad has toured, recorded or written with Willie Nelson, Emmy Lou Harris, Pam Tillis, The Forester Sisters, Tommy Shaw (Styx), David Lee Roth (Van Halen), Sheryl Crow, Sam Bush, Warren Zevon, and The Sweethearts of the Rodeo, to name a few. Brad spent ten years touring with Marty Stuart, plays lead guitar with Earl Scruggs and Friends, and recently produced the new Tim McGraw acoustic tribute record “Where the Bluegrass Grows†on CMH Records. He also co-produced Billy Bob Thornton’s latest record for Universal Records, and he has recorded Billy Bob’s two previous projects on Mercury Records.
Brad tours with Billy Bob Thornton’s rock band, has released two solo cd’s (“Not Gonna Let My Blues Bring Me Down†and “This World Ain’t No Child Anymoreâ€) on FGM Records, and is the star and producer of a brand new television show airing soon on VSEN Network called “Brad Davis’ Commerce County Line.†Brad is a much sought after endorsee for musical instruments, and currently tours the world doing Bluegrass clinics for Takamine Guitars.
