nameless for the moment

THE EARLY YEARS: What would become Malice, was originally started by Mike "The Eliminator", Andres, and Schredder Mike. They started out covering songs by The Ramones, but soon after, they would be heard covering Slayer. Not too long after, Juan would be added as vocals, and following that, Ryan would join as a second guitarist. Things seemed to be going fairly good. Songs were being written, shows were being played, but eventually ryan decide to pursue other things.LATE 2006: Malice went a few weeks with only one guitarist. Not long after Andrew showed up and started to fill in. After Andrew learned several songs, they had begun to play shows again. First Jorgs Coffee, then the Slam Theatre, and with this Andrew had offically joined the band. With a full line up, several original songs, and practic practice practice, they would again play shows. All the hard work paid was paying off, everyone was progressing.MID 2007: They played the Whisky for the first time. It went adequately despite the difficulty of playing with only a half assed line run and really band sound. Most everything went wrong for them that night, and it all started with a missed sound check. Schredder Mike had his guitar strap fall off, Andrew disconnected his pedal from his amp... All in all the show wasn't a total loss, as they made a pretty good impression on the crowd. Shortly thereafter Juan wasn't working out anymore, and the decision to fire him was made. Following that came a few months of uncertainty.September 2007: They tried out exactly two singers. They then decided on the latter which was Danny. He came in with alot of energy, and fantastic singing range. Exactly what was wanted. He quickly picked up and learned five songs they asked him to. Within a month or two, they finally played thier first show since the Whisky, as well as their first show with Danny. The line-up would be complete.2008 Malice are working hard on new material, as well as progressing, and becoming stronger as a band. On 2/10/08 Malice will be participating in the Showcase Showdown. On 3/21/08 they will be entering the semi-finals. Once finished with that, Malice will be back on track, and begin work on their upcoming demo. With the year off to a great start, And many upcoming shows, Malice will strive to make 2008 their most sucessful year yet!
