Country Music With A Coffeehouse In Mind

About Me

"Trends in music come and go, but emotions never change."-J Perck
..
Powered by GoodWidgets.comTHANKS TO EVERYONE WHO WENT TO DOLLYWOOD IN SUPPORT OF THE SHOW FROM 2007!
Jerad has been performing under his own name since the year 2000. Over the past few years he has honed his craft as a performer while gaining notoriety and experience as a writer and musician. He grew up listening to his grandparents records from the 60's and 70's along with the popular radio music of his own generation. His style of acoustic guitar is played with the skill of a seasoned professional, bolstering his unique ability as a songwriter. Jerad Combines the styles of his influences from artists such as Alison Krauss and Merle Haggard with pure and honest songwriting in the likeness of James Taylor (if he was country.) While bringing the genres of Country, Bluegrass, and Folk together, this collection of originals is presented here as his latest effort on TODAY, TOMORROW, AND YESTERDAY
Currently, Jerad can be heard performing at a variety of acoustic venues in South Eastern Louisiana, with plans to reach out to a broader audience. He has just finished his first season at "Dollywood" in Pigeon Forge,Tenn. doing his own acoustic show and released an all original cd in the later part of '07

Sounds Like: Jerad Performs A vast list of acoustic favorites by most popular singer/songwriters and roots artist (acoustic related) He also does many different show stopping segments from his performing experiences he had at Dollywood (Dolly Parton's Theme Park) in 07',such as jokes, imitations, and playing his acoustic "crowd participation" and making people apart of the show and/or to feel like a "welcomed audience"

Professional quality acoustic music combining the musical genres of Folk, Pop, Country, blues, rock & Bluegrass yet maintains a flavor & spontantaneity of a backporch jam session. His vocal style originates from his influences and offers a fresh "retro acoustic country sound"from a "coffeehouse perspective" with a little something extra for today's music.
