About Me

MISERERE was created and is maintained by sole member H.Goenge as Plague up untill April 2007 a.y.p.s.. Henceforth alias has been altered to mrSelfdestruct. Solely responsible for all multilayered simplicity, elektronix, sounds and ideas. MISERERE was a reality around 2003 a.y.p.s. The idea and main mission has always been to create electronic "music" in various shapes and guises by manipulating, twisting, inverting and corrupting everyday sounds and noises through a computer. Hence no samples of movies or spoken passages have ever been or will ever be incorporated. The reason is, I think, that samples from horror and so on have been extremely overused in todays industrial. MISERERE is pure sound and pure noise. Lyrics and poetry have been and will continuously be written for the project, but only as a mean of supplement to the atmospheres intended to be invoked by sounds and noise alone. Some if not all of those lyrics/that poetry will in time be posted here. In 2004 a.y.p.s. the first demo cd "Paraneuropa" was made. Two years later followed by "Routine Atrocities" (2006 a.y.p.s.). Between those two, four "rehearsals" were made, but they generally only served a purpose as a means of "getting a hang" of things again, following the two year break. The trax for the third "real" demo ("Regression Exodus") have just been completed. Now only the assembling and compiling remain. For more information, turn to the blog. Four tracks have been added for anyone and everyone to check out and either enjoy or dislike. The lyric written as a supplement to one of the tracks has also been posted. Four different tracks will be put online as soon as I can upload them. Including a tribute-track for Burzum called "BRZM". I am also responsible for 99% of the lyrics that will be on the Danish black metal band Ad NoctumÂ´s forthcoming album "Arrogance". MISERERE is a non-profit project, in the sense that if anyone shows genuine interest, I will gladly make a copy of one of the/some of the demo(s). The "Malfeitor"-album by Maschinenzimmer-412 and the web-site www.abandoned-places.com (mixed of course with my own desire to create something on my own) were more or less the direct reason for starting MISERERE. That album and that web-site remains a constant inspiration.
