About Me

"The Windsor Scene is the definitive local music program at CJAM for the entire Windsor-Essex county region. The Windsor Scene began as a website created by original host Jamie Greer in late 1999 as a means to unite the vibrant local music scene and make it easier for the scene's supporters to track down their favourite local musicians on-line. In 2003, The Windsor Scene officially hit the air, debuting on CJAM 91.5 FM. The Windsor Scene took home a 2004 Jammy (CJAM's awards for excellence) as Best New Show. It took home it second Jammy Award in 2006 for Best Specialty Programming, all as voted by the listeners. In early 2006, The Windsor Scene also became a companion piece article appearing monthly in Upfront Magazine, written by Jamie Greer. By the end of the summer 2006, the demands on both the radio show and the magazine became too much and Jamie left the radio show to concentrate on his written article. After a short hiatus, The Windsor Scene was re-launched in late 2006 with two new hosts, Rob (Feff) and Randi. With The Windsor Scene continuing its dominance as the only name in local music trusted by so many of its participants, Rob, Randi and Jamie hope you tune in each Thursday at 5pm on CJAM 91.5 FM and to Upfront Magazine each and every month, for your COMPLETE Windsor Scene dose!"
