About Me

www.peacockproject.hepc.co.uk/Unfortunately our Chairman and best friend passed away and we miss him so much. There is a bit of a hole in us at the moment but will be back soon as Olle would want. Peace from the peacock project

The Peacock Project will be up and running SOON.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Some comments from the group memebers: User 1- Has helped me feel less isolated. Has inspired me to make changes in my life and has taught me some coping stategies. It has been useful in every way, to be able to discuss HCV openly, and to be in an eviroment that is non judgemental. More practical help with eg. Welfare, Social Services, Survival Stategies needed. User 2- The group has supported me through my treatment with sound advice and reassurance. Without the group treatment would have been harder to cope with and the Massage and Reiki has been more than useful. User 3- Meeting people at all stages of their illness has been very supporting for me. I feel there is a real bond between us and the staff are part of that as well. The trek from outside the area to attend the meetings are well worth it. Thank you for being there and caring. User 4- By being amongst people suffering fom the same disease as myself, we didn't just discuss that. I made some good friends. User 5- I hope this group continues and helps more people. The Peacock Project and staff were very friendly, useful , approachable and helpful.
