About Me

Democrazy is a music competition offering big cash prizes. It’s a chance to get your music/point across and a genuine invitation to young bands/artists to take on politics.
www.democrazy2007.com
This competition is open to every young band/artist in Scotland with a song with a social/political message.
Look around the site, play the STV animation and get your songs uploaded online now. We have created banners and e-widget links to resources to promote the competition and your music. Download them, send e-cards, attach banners to your myspace or band website but above all get the word out. Your views matter and there are prizes to prove it. Get your track up and promote it everywhere you can!So demo your songs and demonstrate your view today. Upload-Listen-Make it Count!
So how will the winners be decided? It’s simple and it’s all about choice. Once tracks are uploaded, power lies with the public. People can listen and download as few or as many tracks as they like. Downloading begins on Thursday 1st March and closes on Thursday 19th April. When the window for downloading closes we’ll look at the download history for every song and identify the three most popular tracks. Every download counts so get online, decide what you like and what you don’t, start the debate and make your choices. Get listening and start lobbying for your favourites on 1st March.
