L.T.P FAMILY
RoBBeats IN THE BATCAVE STUDIOs:
I had the love for music when I started to learn how to walk . The reason why I say that is because I was able to walk over to my parents turntable. At that time they had a large record collection. My dad played the sax, and the flute. In high school I was that kid always banging on the tables at lunch period, and all my friends was rapping to my table top beats. I never had the money to buy equipment so I had to use what I could. I moved from the tables, to beat box, and from there I was looping tapes with drums and samples. My love for hip hop is deep inside of me and I am a 70s baby too. I was raised by hip hop and I feel very blessed because I was around when hip hop came into the world, and more so being from NY the birth place of hip hop. It hurts me to see what has happened to our music. You hear nothing but soulless SHIT out now. It seems like you have to sell your soul to be put on . Well, all I have to say is that me and Illy are going to be like the movie 300. All the odds will be against us "AND WE WILL GIVE THEM NOTHING, BUT TAKE EVERYTHING FROM THEM!!!!"
