The origins of Forgotten Souls can be traced back to 1998, when after numerous changes in line-up the band toured alongside Cracow black-metal acts, such as Dementia, Stronghold, Serpenita and others. The year 2002 brought a demo recording followed by more gigs. Unfortunately, due to the differing views on music among the members, the band’s activity was suspended for a year. In 2003 Forgotten Souls’ line-up became ultimately settled and the entirely new musical face of the band was revealed in “Tomorrow’s Dead Endâ€, a demo recorded that year In a professional studio. The quality of the music resulted in many performance offers as well as awards in musical contests. In the following year the group were engaged in promoting their music at gigs, performing, among others, alongside Delight, Sacriversum, Thy Disease, Anal Stench, Dominium or Bright Ophidia. Starting in June 2005, by the end of the year Forgotten Souls finished recording another piece of promotional material entitled “Maeth†in their own, private studio. The band’s new musical facet syncretically blends together the black metal fury, industrial sounds and oriental frenetism. The outcome goes beyond any arbitrary musical classification. At the moment we are self-promoting the new material " Nine Syndromes" 2008 and we are looking forward to establishing contacts with people or institutions willing to cooperate with us and promote the music on a larger scale.
