Cardia

Cardia is a project of two gyus with almost similar backrounds. We have grown up together with same classical music influnces (choirs and a cappella groups), but different rock/pop backgrounds. Tom and his guitar have jumped in the stage in a heavy metal band and Gary has been dancing with microfone in a progressive band and in cover bands. There is a little "Sibelius" in every finnish musicians heart. That is one reason why we both also sing in one of the best male voice choir in the world, YL Male Voice Choir. I don't want to categorise our music, because then you are married with the category. But maybe I explain a little bit. Cardia plays mainly pop/rock music, but you can hear influences from progressive and classical music. Our music is based on beatiful melodies and harmonies. That part maybe comes from our choir and classical backgrounds. Then we add some progressive, pop and 80's music in it, and the mixture of that is Cardia's music.
