About Me
I play drums. I play drums in a band. I play drums in a few bands actually, as well as do it for a living. I also play bass for a living. I would like to be a professional yodeler. I think that's really neat. Some days I'll walk over to the highest point I can find in the surrounding area, and yodel all day long, or until someone strikes me in the head with an object and/or fists. This poses a problem for me obtaining a girlfriend(s), as black eyes and bleached skin prevent me from being able to attract the opposite sex' even though I have an otherwise nice complexion. This of course leads to me being sometimes uptight and sexually frustrated. I tend to take this out on my friends, by subjecting them to longwinded explanations of why my life is extremely terrible and involves only shame and misery. Did I also mention that I have an exquisite collection of pocket knives and Star Wars action figures? Sometimes I wish that my only friends were my knives and action figures... They're just there, and they never respond with cruel words or harmful intentions. I really wish you would be my friend! I need friends. My mom says they're all you really need, and that you can judge your own character by the people you surround yourself with. So, I suppose that means my character consists of plastic molds and miniaturized screws used to connect moveable components. This would explain my sometimes uncontrollable urges to karate chop action everything I see, and my overwhelming desire to convince everyone that my hand is equipped with a built-in retractable lightsaber.As far as projects I'm currently involved with are concerned, I play drums in a few bands. Bands I have played with are named Head Automatica, another Th' Legendary Shack*Shakers, another Keating (who is now referred to as Paper Rival) and the latter's name is up in the air because nobody in the band can make up their damn mind on what we should be called, so we'll just refer to this band as "Led Zeppelin." I also work freelance around town as a drummer and bassist, and can be seen on occasion playing drums for numerous country, rock, americana, metal, and rockabilly bands/artists around Nashville, which is the town I currently reside and was born and also raised in. I like it here. I can make money doing what I love to do, and it's very easy to be creative and original here, because nobody else is really doing it yet.I would really like you to be my friend, because that would make me more whole as a human being and enrich my day with happy thoughts and visions of tulips growing in the hot southern sun. These are things that I need. Like knives.
