About Me

Music and performing is my calling, my true passion and what drives me in life. It's a release and an expression of all that is me. It is a natural element in life that brings pleasure to each and everybody and it can unite us.I was exposed to music growing up, started singing very young and just had a natural energy and enthusiasm for it. Starting out in choirs, studying music throughout college and eventually graduating from the Conservatorium of Music at Massey University in 1999, I have a comprehensive understanding of Classical Voice and theory. Releasing The Maori Heart internationally in 2000 through Naxos, this album captures the beauty of some of the traditional Maori love songs of Aotearoa.In later years however, I have been involved with Overjoy, Floyd Molloy, Hitchcock Railway (tribute band), more recently with Isunray and have been engaged on many ocassions to sing the New Zealand National Anthem for international rugby tests.I am currently working on capturing my spirit, my love, my heart and my soul for music - and expressing this through my latest works.
