I’m very laid back, I take life as it comes, as slow as that may be. I don’t really have any place in life, I just float through. I have to admit that I am very indirect with my emotions; I can behave pretty antagonistically towards someone I actually like. I can be pretty self-destructive when I’m in a bad mood, whether it be physically, mentally, or socially. I try to help people by listening to their problems, but I try to refrain from giving advice. I have a polar personality, at times I can be very caring and only want the best for others (especially my friends), while at others I can be very selfish and deceitful, trying to get ahead of others, or just being malicious, which in part can be blamed on my bouts of depression.
I’m addicted to Wikipedia, the History Channel, and MythBusters. I love games, though I have to say that I enjoy the 4th (SNES) and 5th (N64, PlayStation, etc.,…) generation consoles more, especially Nintendo. I just started collecting Nintendo Game Boys. I also love to read, thanks to watching Wishbone when I was little (I think all children should be forced to watch Wishbone when they’re young, especially between 5-10 years old!); I love the Lord of the Rings books, the Redwall series, and the Harry Potter series. I also enjoy anything Star Wars (films, books, games, etc.,…). I play guitar as a hobby, nothing serious yet. I am completely against censorship, especially in music. I have legg-calve-perthes disease (the HUMAN one) in my right hip (and slightly in my left), which keeps me from being as active as I could be, though I exercise in my free time (until the pain really starts to get to me). I write stories, mainly stories set either in the past (Tolkien-esque) or the near future; I’ve yet to write any stories that are set in the distant future (Lucas-esque). I also enjoy writing comedy, as I have a strange sense of humor, which can be anywhere from black and morbid to surreal and bizarre.
I’m fascinated by history, especially when it involves human conflict, such as Attila the Hun's war, the American Revolution, the Civil War, and World War II, and anything Egyptian, Roman, or Norse. I also love to learn about other people’s cultures, especially music (I love Algerian raï), and different religions and mythology, especially the old pagan ones.
I enjoy drawing pictures, and I’m actually pretty good, but I usually ruin what I draw when I try to add a little color to them. I’m hoping to get into painting in the near future.
I also enjoy watching cartoons that I used to watch when I was younger, such as Rocko's Modern Life and Doug (even though they have now been abandoned by Nickelodeon and won't release them on DVD) and playing old computer games made by Humongous Entertainment games (i.e., Putt-Putt, SPY Fox, Pajama Sam, Freddi Fish, etc.,...). That's all, I guess.
