Ave

About Me

Avè has been bouncing around the Emerald Coast bringing joy to all its inhabitants. We're kinda like Santa that way… or possibly the Easter Bunny.

Avè cooks up a classy selection of jazz, Brazilian, bossa, folk, and modern music, mixed with a splash of Celtic and Renaissance tunes and combined with a pinch of humor. (Thrown in for good measure.) While we play a variety of venues, we specialize in dinner parties, wine tastings, weddings, and private in-home occasions.

On a personal note, If you’re in the area, come by and check us out sometime! We’d love to meet you.

Jimmy Chandler-(Guitar) is a classically trained guitarist who has been performing and teaching music for over 20 years. After receiving his Masters of Music Degree, he taught guitar at Jacksonville University and has since performed in guitar quartets, duos, and flute/guitar ensembles. He has preformed in world class resorts such as:
• Ritz Carlton, Amelia Island, Fl
• Cloister, St. Simons Island, GA
• Epping Forest Yacht Club, Jacksonville
• Ponte Vedra Inn and Club, Jacksonville

His students have won numerous awards, several international competitions, and many of them have gone on to operate their own private studios.

Lori Irlbeck-(Voice) discovered her love of singing when she was very young. During her early years, she won high honors in school voice competitions and later went on to receive further training in guitar and voice in college. She continued her singing while living in Seattle Washington where she was a church cantor and preformed regularly for weddings and other special events.

Upon returning to the Gulf Coast area, she enrolled in guitar classes at Okaloosa Walton College where she was fortunate to meet Jimmy. A year later, they combined their talents to create Avè.

Avè is a guitar/vocal duo that specializes in conversational dinner music. In addition to the dinner setting, they also play wine tastings, private parties, weddings, festivals, and other special events. Their soothing, reflective sound embraces the picturesque surroundings of the Emerald Coast and adds an elegant atmosphere to every event.
