I have a piano at the art collective. I write and perform wild jazz charts for violin, piano, and bass on it. I throw shows at the gallery too. I've written a bunch of musical palindromes. I compose for a lot of different instrumentations and voices. I compose and perform with Basilica; two violins, two electric guitars, grind drums, bass, video projections. Corrently, I am practicing violin works by Elliot Carter and John Cage. I hang out around Bloomington with my dog. You should visit us. I teach stringed instruments to kids in public schools and at a string academy. I teach different improvisation styles, rock violin, and competetive american fiddling. I graduated from the IU Jacobs School of Music. It was great, but people there need to get real. I don't really feel that most music is relevant to the experience i'm having in the world, and that's why a lot of my music is unconventional. I'm trying not to share personal information here because i'm paranoid about employers and such. You understand, right? Either way, i'm not boring- I swear.
