What is MTSU Student Programming & Events? Entertainment? Experience? Education? Training? Fun? All that and more!
MTSU Student Programming & Events' services include concerts, full-length feature films at the KUC theatre, an annual MTSU student film festival , performances, thought provoking lectures, and other exciting events. For a look at upcoming events, see the Student Events CalendarThe students of Student Programming are the only ones who choose what programs and/or events we bring to campus. Those students are broken up into 7 major committees with membership requirements being simple interest in conducting events on campus. While the committees include a wide variety of interested students, they are led by an elected group of student chairpersons known as the Program Council. Each semester we hold elections to give 7 individuals a chance to govern their respected committees and work closely with acts or events to provide MTSU with the best possible programming available. The students can hold 1 of the 7 committee chair positions or become elected the Program Council Chair, who has the privilege to work with each group as a supervisor. We understand that there are many important aspects of student education outside of the classroom. We know that providing students with individual opportunities to learn and grow experientially is the most important job we can have. We believe that the many programs and experiences we offer are structured to help students make the most of their education at Middle Tennessee State University. The Student Programming office is located in Keathley University Center, room 308. The staff welcomes your comments, questions and suggestions. You may contact us at 615.898.2551.
