About Me

I am currently a solo producer forming my own style of Drum’n’Bass aswell as working on garage and grime music. I have been producing for around three years now and am still learning new tricks.

I started out mixing during my college days round a friends house, where i learnt the basics of DJing and various genres of music mainly concentrating on the underground garage side. From there i found Drum & Bass which i slowly started to grasp and become more and more experienced. Mainly starting with old school jungle this gave me the idea to become a DJ using this style, increasing my record collection and finally purchasing my own set of turntables.

Taking any spare time i had to practice i got my first set at a school in Canterbury where we orientated UK Garage into a chart music style set. From then i started getting my name out and managed to host a Garage & Drum’n’Bass night down at the colleges local pub the Cross Keys. The night didn’t go down very well with the local residents however it was enjoyed by those who took part as well as the many people we brought to the place. After taking time away due to my job i then started to pick up from where i left starting regular nights down in a club at Herne Bay which was renowned for its Drum & Bass nights taking in many local DJs who mix the same style.

The Dark Order crew then started to form consisting of DJs and MCs from the surrounding towns - Double D, Sniper, Harmonics, Statz, Trippa, Creepa, Stella & Mace. Using this new found group of talented individuals we set out to get our name out and become more famous in the local areas, hosting nights and advertising with flyers and posters set all over.

After a while we all set out our seperate ways and i started to produce. From not knowing much about music production i literally had to learn and teach myself from scratch, finding out new techniques and puttin them towards making tunes. Over the years my sample collection and knowledge of the production side started to grow dramatically and from then i began to help others in the ways that i have taught myself.

Through the people i met on my journey i then started to have weekly slots on an internet radio station www.reputationfm.co.uk in which i hosted a two hour set giving track reviews, mixes, interviews with guests DJs and MCs. This was hosted in a studio in Whitstable known as Culture Studios.

I have had many sets in the past and many more planned for the future, as they say the only way is up.

Big shout goes to all those who have supported me, big up to Xenocide & all the crew at Twisted Logic Recordings, Miss Reprezent for holding it down at Aftershock, OJ and all those not mentioned.
