Grownd Flore claims to be a rock star, but everyone there listens to mostly Hip Hop and covers by American Idol artists. Grownd Flore also claims to be awesome, water resistant, and fire retardant. All of these are just claims, the truth is... Grownd Flore IS awesome if you think awesome is making tee shirts, wearing tee shirts, or laughing hard about tee shirts. Grownd Flore was founded by Miche Dwenger, essentially because he couldn't become a teacher after dunking a childs head in the toilet while working for Westerville Parks and Rec. Miche went on to graduate from The Ohio State University and work in various clothing related settings, but his fondness for wearing tee shirts, New Balance sneakers and swim trunks to work brought him to starting his own company. Grownd Flore will officially launch in 2007, but many people have already owned a Grownd Flore tee. The one of a kind love that sells from anywhere to $35-$115 are now called Grownd Flore Originals and are made for a specific, often awesome person.
