About Me

musicisgodstarted when we had to fill in a slot at a music festival back in1598. members have included a force of nature, a van driver and a lump of coal but now we're down to the core team of pipeandslippersman and Magnox. it took ages to learn how to play country music so we settled on using dubstep, drum+bass, glitch, 8-bit and psych guitar to sing the same songs. then we heard that Great Art trancended genre and stopped trying to describe our music. we can't pronounce the word 'eclectic' so we don't use it in conversation. as 'Wonderpig' we tried our hand at busking for a little while (on acoustic 12-string and public fountain) but that didn't pay well. so we started a travelling minstrel show using electrically-powered instruments and petrol-powered musicians. we were on fire in those days... we sold some records too. but now we just give some of them away. we tried everything to be famous: getting drunk on local radio, jumping off waterfalls, driving our cars into the ground, all of it! but we finally got sick of eating food we hadn't cooked and it was the slow death... nothing seemed to work until we were blessed with studio dubreq and it's landing module: the silvermachine; and now it's to our benefit that we switch those things on and surrender to uncertainty. nothing you hear, here, will ever be the same again. only echoes of it. every day is a new version. every day is a new prayer. we also provide pictures and video. love mig
