Head Vs. Heart started out in early 2007 as a musical project between Chris, Jim, and Adam. Soon after Chris left his role as drummer in Forever in a Day, more time was spent focused on writing the songs that would eventually become the framework of the songs Head vs. Heart plays today. A few months after formation, Tony joined, filling the bass position. By the end of 2007, they began playing acoustic shows and received much acclaim from local fans which only added gasoline to an already strong burning fire. After a drummer was found, they continued on to start playing full-set electric shows at local venues, continuing to build their fan base. Robert took over on drums after the first drummer left to pursue a band of his own, and the lineup has stayed solid since then, and is now composed from a group of friends since high school. They recently released their first EP titled The War Between in January of 2009, recorded and produced by Christopher Abalos of inRepair Studios.
