For those too unimaginative to give me a nickname themselves, I answer to Tahlia, Thals, Tahls, Bagwell, T-Bag, T-Dogg, T-Bird & Slaht, and I'd like to say that my life fucking rules.
I'm a UNSW Harvard Medgeek. Yes, this does give you the right to relentlessly ridicule me. No, I won't object, because I know it's all true.
I also have awesome friends in The Ville and Balj. A lot of them are in bands that I like to promote. I'm allowed to do this because they are all genuinely talented.
My love of ska and Reel Big Fish can be traced back to discussing Goldfinger with a cool kid named Callan on Will's couch, as well as some awesome mix CDs he made me.
My [almost] life-long love of Super Nintendo, Captain Planet and some other childhood love-affairs are being expounded in Super Mario necklaces and T-shirts and lying on a jetty with my elbow in fish guts, putting on the tattoo from my 10c bubblegum.
I think it’s completely arrogant to act like we’re the only planet that can sustain life forms. The Universe is rather large, and I like to hold some form of hope that there is some form of civilisation out there that has a little more respect for the world. On this note, I think most of the world's problems could be solved by putting Captain Planet back on TV.
While I often say inappropriate things, stumble over words, and blabber nonsense, I really love the English language. But just as that hilariously sex-obsessed owner of the world's greatest mustard yellow boat/car/beast, Woody, told me, lack of frequent writing has seen my grasp of the English language falter quite a bit. Still, people with deliberately shitty spelling, grammar and punctuation make me die a little inside.
Saving our planet is the thing to do.
Who I'd like to meet:
While my opinions on many topics have changes and mellowed over the past year or so, I don't waste time with shitty friends & shitty people. There are so many amazing people in my life that I'd rather spend my time with.
I am acutely aware that the time I have to spend with those I love is limited, so I don't waste my time with toxic friendships. Simple. That said, I'll always give you a fair go; probably a few more than you deserve.
I want to meet people who positively impact my world, who change the way I view things, who will challenge and be challenged, who can admit they're wrong, and admit they're right. People who intrigue me. People with passion, beliefs morals and opinions.
