The Academy is a band from Uppsala. Their music is best described with the words dynamic-melodic pop-rock. Many people compare them to bands like Coldplay, Sting, Radiohead, Dave Matthews Band and Keane. They released their debut album, "One moment of truth, in 2004. Their first music video, "Roseanne", was released in 2006. At the moment the band is working on material for their second album. They also play live regularly at different places in mainly Sweden.
