Dawson Open Mic

Hello there. My name is Dawson Streetpub. I am a room in a building in a city. ( That'd be at 100 Dawson street in PHiladelphia in that greyspace tween Manayunk and Roxborough.) I am prone too wild fits of musical magic and damn good times and fine Jams. Could be the hootch( I gots a great selection of beers and booze), could be the food( I serve up chow till midnight including some vegetarian selections), could be the people( good friends meet here, the regulars, the IRregulars, the swell barenders and chefs), but it's most probably THE MUSIC! This is where YOU come in.COme on in and sing me a song or 3. EVERY WEDNESDAY AT 9!! THe mic is open!! the stage is yours - sing a song, play a melody, dance a jug, paint a quick canvas! Please bring you own ballet shoes and easels. I GOTS A BASS GEETAR AND A CONGA TO PLAY. BRING YOUR OWN AXE. sEE YOUS weNDAYS!P.S. from the host of the Dawson street open mic. We get together every Wednesday from 9:00 PM - 2:00 AM. Any musician on any level can come up and play. You never know who will drop in and play a set with you. We also do special promotions and have special featured acts from time to time. If you are looking to play a weekend spot at the Dawson send me an email and we will set you up with a featured act on a Wednsday night as a try out.
