I'm living in Wilmington, NC currently, and you can come visit. We have a spare room and bed and we are 10 minutes from the ocean. I recently spent a year and a half in Australia and New Zealand after living in St Louis with my manwife Lauren for 7 years. Now he's in Jersey with his lady and I wander this ragged countryside, my hat in my hands.... I've been doing some touring lately, as lighting director for a spanish Flamenco Dance company. And, man, I need to learn some spanish, let me tell you. ok, a bit more...I am currently torn between about 27 fantasies about what to do with my life, some of which include: get my MFA in film and teach intro production at some university somewhere; open a coffeeshop that also does music and art and wonderfulness; have a music venue/bar; travel around the world volunteering to do random stuff; learn every percussive instrument possible; go back to doing university theater tech direction; open up nashville's most pimpest hostel/backpackers; write write write write write; just have a workshop and make furniture and lamps and lovely dumb stuff. so that's some of them. And if i can do those things without ever flying again or eating mcdonald's, well, all the better.
