Producer/ Sound Engineer born in UK, raised in the Bay Area. Began crafting beats at 15, inspired by Producers such as Dr Dre, DJ Premier, Timberland etc... Combining elements of classic east coast hip hop with the bass heavy signature funk of the West Joe-L Angelo Margolis has proved himself a "go to" producer for quality hip hop and R&B music. Currently working for Tarpan Studios and legendary multi platinum/ multi grammy winning producer Narada Michael Walden producing and engineering under world class engineer/ musician Jim Reitzel. Joe-L recently had the opportunity to program drums on Carlos Santanas new record "Ultimate Santana". His engineer credits include recording and assisting sessions with artists such as Smokey Robinson, Carlos Santana, Gloria Estefan, KeKe Wyatt, Stanley Jordan, Clarence Clemons, Idrissa Diop, Sakai and Tony Lindsay. And has produced tracks for artists Yukmouth, Suga-T, Gonzoe, AP-9, Tuf Luv, Jamillions, Idrissa Diop, D.N.A, and Solitary 1 to name a fiew.
