I've trained under a master chef, been a drug induced transient ski bum, a corporate suit, a college professor, and have been part of a group that ran a highly successful community theater company, art gallery, and performance space.
...Through it all, photography has been the passion.
Currently living in a historic district of downtown central Phoenix, AZ, I regularly shoot fashion spreads and photojournalism for local magazines, pr/advertising images for bands and community organizations, and capture the occasional wedding.
...So, I'd love to take your picture!

I also love to travel, having backpacked Europe twice, taken a month long graduate class in downtown Mexico City, and worked my way through 45 US states and 3 Canadian Provinces. On the map it doesn't seem like much, but we're working on it:

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I wish I could have met my great-great uncle Thomas who, during the mid-late 1800's befriended Sitting Bull, became an honorary member of the Souix (participating in the Sun Dance), and was an eye witness to Wounded Knee. In a landmark 1879 court case he successfully forced the US to recognize Indians as human beings and citizens, freeing the Ponca Tribe from forced move to the Oklahoma "Indian Territory." He ran as the vice-presidential canditate on "The Peoples Party" ticket in 1904 (losing to Teddy Roosevelt's 2nd Term). Two of the several books he wrote during the late 1800's are on the plight of the American Peasant Farmer, and the abuses against Native Americans, making him one of the first true Marxist's (before there was such a signification).
