About Me

Inspired by the raw sound of hip hop from the 90's - the Golden Era, Spaz started making beats as early as 2003. His love for music keeps him producing, collaborating and even writing rhymes to his own beats.Having found interest in all aspects of hip hop, he has already tapped into the art of graffiti writing and emceeing."I do it simply for the love of hip hop and because I'm always inspired to create something that's not only pleasurable visually, but also aurally. I graduated from film school, but I feel like I was definitely born to do music. There's a lot of wack music coming out now that's labeled 'hip hop' when it obviously isn't hip hop at all. I like to keep it real and bring back the old school sound, take my listeners back to the 90's, and show kids these days what hip hop really is. That there is better "hip hop" being made. Hip hop isn't dead, it's just been forgotten by the industry and people need to recognize where all this new shit really came from. There are only a few cats out there right now who are still standing ground and staying true to hip hop, and to me it's really reassuring to know that. I see it as a sign that the underground will probably live forever." - Spaz PUT YOUR BIO SECTION HERE! Changes may take up to 2 mins to show on your profileView All Friends | View Blog | Add Comment
