About Me

Geez, I wish I had something witty or clever to say, but, I'm just a wife and mom. I like to think I have some deep, mystical, mysterious side, but I think that is only in my head. Part of me refuses to grow up and abandon my rock chick/metalhead ways. I like to think I am still cool! (I swear, I used to be!)I love wine and sharing a bottle (or 2 or 3) with good friends. I'm very laid back and like to have fun.I have 6 awesome kids. Ashlyn is 13, Justin is 11, Evan and Rhiannon are 7, and Lillian is 3 and "6" is baby Aidyn! If I had to describe our home in 1 word, it would be CHAOS. But, in a good way. My world pretty much revolves around my family, so, sometimes I forget who I am. I stay home to take care of my babies. But, man I miss the strip! Remember Fat City? Once in a while, if we are lucky enough to get away for a night out, we'll check out my favorite local band, Sunday Morning Head Count. I so totally miss the old Sport's Page on Johnston Street. I love the smell of whiskey. My favorite place to be is in the woods or on the bayou. I don't like beaches, maybe it's the sand or the sun or the seaweed, I don't know. I love muscle cars, the louder the better. I like Monster Trucks and motorcycles. I absolutly loved being pregnant! I love thunderstorms, especially at night. I used to like to cook, now I just do it cuz I have to. I'd rather scrub toilets than wash dishes by hand. I make my own laundry detergent. I am not impressed by Lexus, BMW or Mercedes. How much money one has or where one lives or what they drive means nothing to me. My favorite colors are purple and red. I miss my Grandma Lucy and Paw-Paw Blue and think of them every day. I want plastic surgery. I want Stevie Nicks' wardrobe. I hate to wear shoes. I am so much more comfortable in a pair of old jeans and a tshirt than "nicely dressed". I'm sort of a "tom boy" but I do like fine jewlery. I can wander flea markets for hours and never get bored, but put me in the mall and I'm looking for the nearest exit within a half hour. I can not stand rudeness. Don't try to pull one over on me. I may look all trusting and at times, even gullible, but don't let that fool ya. I am not scared of snakes but will cry like a baby when I see a spider. (Just ask my daughter and husband.) I am scared of heights and fire. My favorite season is Autumn. I even love the Winter. I like the nighttime more than the day. I'm not crazy about swimming.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I would have loved to have met Randy Rhoades and Ronnie Van Zant.I'd love to meet Stevie Nicks and James Hetfield. Oh, and Rudy Sarzo! OMG, he was one of my first celebrity crushes! I used to watch Night Tracks, (remember that?) and my first introduction to metal was Quiet Riot's "Metal Health" and "Cum On Feel The Noise".I'd like to meet Sylvia Brown, too.I don't know, I am definatly not interested in meeting people who just reek of negativity, jealousy, greed, stupidity. I don't want to meet people who think everyone either owes them something or that the world is out to screw them over when they don't get their way.I already know enough people like that! Most of today's celebreties don't really impress me,maybe because they all seem so materialistic and so full of themselves, but it would be interesting to have known Marilyn Monroe, Mae West, Jane Mansfield, the women who to me just scream glamore and sophistication.Female celebreties today could learn a thing or two from them.

Here's a thought! If you don't want people talking about you, don't make a spectacle of yourself.
