Grovy ghouls & gals Sit back and enjoy the horrorBackground/History: The Jump family had a family heirloom porcelain doll named Dolly that they believed brought them good fortune and it was handed down generation to generation. Alison got to keep the doll when she was 12 and she placed it on a shelf above her bed. Not long after, there were reports of children being attacked in their homes in her neighborhood. One night, the attacker broke in Alison’s room and grabbed her from her bed. In the dim light, she thought she saw something move overhead. Suddenly, her attacker stopped struggling with her and collapsed with a knife in his back with Dolly laying on the floor behind him. Her parents heard her crying and came in. They assumed she had defended herself and, in their relief, never wondered how she got the knife. After the incident, she began to hear a voice in her head explaining the ways of magic. Her curiosity got the better of her and she attempted one of the spells. When she cast a simple spell, her features grew pale and she bore an uncanny resemblance to the doll. Over the next couple of years, she gained a fair amount of expertise and became inspired by the exploits of Crypeace and the Union to use her talents to protect the innocent as she had been protected originally.Personality/Motivations: Although she is a very sweet and caring girl, she tends to be rather brooding and a bit standoffish due to the mixed reactions she has had from others to her abilities. Her main motivation is to protect innocents, a mission that seems to have been placed on her by the mysterious doll.
