Rapping at the tender age of 7 Tori West began to absorb her gift day by day. Writing songs & Sinigng in the Church Choir at her local church in Hawaii 'Faith Tabernacle'. Some conflicts were brought upon Tori at a young age such as her dad not being in her life & being molested by 3 different people 2 of whom were very close to her. " Raised without my dad yeah I wanted him dead. Hurt as a kid so I got these thoughts floating through my head" -Gave My Life Remix (2008) in this rhyme she describes how she use to wish death upon her father & her constant battle with homosexuality. " I use to think GOD messed up my gender, I thought I was suppose to be a guy", "I hated my dad for not being there, I loved him so much but he didn't ever seem like he loved me so I wanted him and his wife to die, that was my prayer every night before I went to bed" said Tori in one of her shows. At the age of 12 Tori started to write her own songs & rap | sing them for family & friends everybody said she had talent. At the age of 13 she recorded some songs she had written previously & put them up on myspace. Alot of people started to write her saying she had a nice flow & they enjoyed her music. But Tori did not want to stop there she kept on writing music & rapping pursuing her dream. At the age of 16 Tori wrote to a song by Shei Atkins a Christian Artist from Texas. The song was called "Gave My Life To GOD " in which she finally was released from her homosexuality, " It took me 16 years to finally say that I'm not that person, GOD gave me a purpose & I am who he made me. " I always wondered why I couldn't stop crying about my dad, I say I don't care but still thinking about the situation brought tears to my eyes & it was because I never really said it aloud & when I did I was released". While performing at a local chuch in Westside Phoenix she had a woman approach her & she just started to cry. She mentioned to Tori that she was also molested by her father & she blamed GOD for it & that's what kept her from coming to church but now she wanted to come back to Christ & wanted Tori to help her come back. From that short experience Tori realized how well she could use her Testimony & that if she could get an elderly woman saved she can also get people from her generation saved as well. To continue with her vision from GOD Tori will soon be moving to the East Coast to minister to kids on the streets, kids in abusive houses, kids without a parent/s, & also kids battling with homosexuality. She also is continuing her education by attending college & she also plays the piano & guitar. My method is "Saving My People From The Fire" because she knows people are sitting in the hot seat & don't even know it.
