I am here for Friends

About Me

Day 1. This MySpace is going to last 42 days and I suppose over those days I'll say more about myself. Basically, we were at the London Eye yesterday waiting for the fireworks, discussing with friends what our New Year's Resolutions were. My Husband had bought me a jewellery box to sort out the riot of chains, bangles and earrings that are all knotted up, which I call jewellery. I sorted it all out and put my newly discovered 42 pairs of earrings carefully into my Indian silk box. Well I only put 40 in cause 2 need repairing. Well, Paul said why do we bother making resolutions because we never keep them- true. But, I'm trying to become a 'completer-finisher' someone who does what they say they will. So I said I was going to do this MySpace thing- never done anything like it before, so it would be a record that I did what I said I would. I'm going to take a photo of me everyday in a different pair of earrings until I've worn all 42. Maybe, if anyone looks at it they can vote and help me discard all the really bad ones because I haven't been able to throw any away.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Friends who can vote on my earrings. I'm not ordinarily very sociable.

Day 42

I knew on day 1 that I was going to wear these on day 42. I wore these to get married in and so because of that they are very, very special. THE END.

Day 40

Do you remember my broken earrings that I told you about long, long ago? Well, these are they. I didn't get round to mending them so I just took a lovely photo of them on the table. A friend that I no...

Day 36

Another present from a little girl I used to drop off every day at school. Silver, celtic stylee with a pale blue stone. Inoffensive enough.

Day 35

Another bloody Indian pair!!! Actually, I bought these in England. They have a matching necklace and I quite like them, they are a bit more subdued.

Day 34

My hair is really long and over my ears now. I'm having it cut tomorrow so I'm afraid I didn't wear any earrings today. Really, I've got a few of those vile tacky Indian pairs left. This pair I bought...

Day 32

I have bought these during the last few years I know but can't remember where. I think it was from a craft festival at Shugborough Hall. They are different colours of wood in a stick form. Frankly, I ...
