What is True Bypass?
True Bypass is a switching method where, in bypass mode, the signal goes directly from the input jack through the switch to the output jack with no connection to the circuitry (that may be responsible for 'tone sucking'). In effect, it is a straight wire through the box and does not degrade the signal because there is only the resistance of the jacks, wires and switches inline with the signal. when not in use, your pedals/effect/circuitry are True Bypassed.
