Vocals on Suffer and 2nd Hand Chance by Chambers
All other Vocals were done by Akeldama
The Clearing was formed by two brothers. The idea
of creating a band that was heavy and dark. In the
beginning heavily influenced by Coal Chamber and Cradle
of Filth. But more influences creped in.
Time and differences proved to wear both my brother(Chambers) and
I(Akeldama) down. Ideas of giving up surfaced. When My
brother decided upon pursuing Black Metal instead and
I was unchanged towards Blackened Metal. We were almost to
part different ways. After a talk it was agreed that there
was still a message that needed to be delivered through
dark and heavy music. Just now Virgil's message was to
be written in Black Metal and mine in Blackened Metal. But
even still we can see eye to eye through different
genres. I'll be apart of his vision(Vampiric Dawn) and
he shall be including in mine(The Clearing).
Back to The Clearing. Simply put...The Clearing is
love and loss songs, songs of restlessness and hopelessness.
I would like to say to anyone whom rates the songs and adds this
band to there friends, my deepest thanks to you. I've
put everything into each song I could. I know the sound
quality of the songs isn't the best, doesn't have that
polished "studio sound" but I'm working on that and in
time there will be some time and money spent towards
a more professional sound and an ep for those eager to add this music to there collection. but for now I give you all I
can offer at the moment. Please enjoy. And once
