Da Beatsmith Benny Blaze

About Me

Making music for a living, which started off as a dream for Da Beatsmith Benny Blaze, but in 1999 this dream became a blessed reality. Although we mainly know this creative mind from his signature bangers, he did not start off by crafting these funky base lines and these neck breaking beats that we all know today; In fact, his career took flight as an everyday MC. Like every MC, you come to a point where you realize that you are in need of a producer, a good one at that. Unfortunately at the time there were not many in the area, so he decided to take the matter into his own hands by mastering this skill himself. Throughout the next couple of years Benny Blaze recorded songs with artists including: Complex, Rzn and Jaffa (now known as Jaffar The 14th Disciple). By 2002 Da Beatsmith Benny Blaze and Complex formed Undaworld Productions Inc. which included the artists that were previously mentioned. Their reign was victorious, performing alongside artists such as Slick Rick, Biz Markie, The GZA of Wu-Tang Clan, Killah Priest, The Beatnuts, Funkdoobiest, DJ Muggs & Sick Jacken feat. Cynic, and Planet Asia. The label also got to see the light of releases from Complex: "The Search For Perfection" and one from our very own, Da Beatsmith Benny Blaze: "An Eclectic Life Orchestration". While this reign seemed to bring nothing but success and optimism for the future, it was unfortunately cut short: In early 2009, the lack of involvement, promotion and funding resulted in the fall of the label. So what’s next for Da Beatsmith Benny Blaze you may ask? We are proud to inform you that he is working on production for Auditory Alliance™, while also finding time to put work into his own projects. Even though there has been a rise and fall, this is only the beginning; the best is yet to come.
