whats up yall im Slyde from DownRange ENT. (D.R.E) just to let yall no about me i came up in colorado springs, Co. while growing up i hung out with all the wrong ppl when i was in jr high i started drug dealin and i got real good at it some how i never got caught could be cuz i had all the right ppl having my back at the time but over time i relized y i never got caught.in the begginning of 2004 i was invited to a hip hop concert at solid rock so i desided to go check it out cuz it was free and i heard it was local artist. well that same day i was suppose to go met with a friend and we were getting a pick up on drugs so i desided to go to the concert for a short time and then go to the drop. well when i got there i was listenng to da music and i relized they were talkin about God. it was a gospel hip hop concert but it was tight. that same night i stayed there and got saved i remember it was Ryzen da reapa that prayed for me.(the artist proforming was Divine Flava records, M.V.P, Spanish Kid, unf8abo, and many more.) and by me bein saved at that concert i didnt go to the drop and it was good i didnt cuz it was a set up and my friend was arrested. i started rollin with M.V.P and all them at the time they were called S.T.R.A.P.P.E.D Ministries. and over a 6 month period i was reveiw by them and then became on of them. at that point i put my life in Gods hands and i was blessed with everything it was great. i relized i wasnt really doin anything with my life cuz i droped out of school and was working jobs on and off. so i desided to do something with my life. i prayed on it and eventually i joined the army. i am in the army now im a combat engineer at FT. Carson, Co. yea God brought me home. when i came back i found out that S.T.R.A.P.P.E.D Ministries was no more. they desided to procue the music ministry and i didnt hate them for that we all stayed in touch cuz S.T.R.A.P.P.E.D isnt just a ministry its a life style. they then formed G-L.I.F.E(God's Love Is For Everyone) and then also started Team destiny which is a program were kids can come play basketball and listen to hip hop and get free food and get off the streets and away from gangs. cuz alot of hte youth no gangs are recruiting like mad in colorado latly. and they are recuiting at the age of 10 now. cuz by law if i kid that young committes a crime like murder or something along those lines they cant be prosicuted, but there is now a chance that they can be. S.T.R.A.P.P.E.D is still alive today and our mission is to save kids and get them off the streets and put the gangs down and bring these kids to the Gang of God! im not afraid to say Jesus while goin down the street, in the mall, or in a store. ppl look at me like im crazy but that cuz they aint like me i aint gonna deny my God! i started doin gospel hip hop last december and its been a great exsperiance God has blessed me with a lyrical talent i always been able to write since 6th grade. now im using my gift for God. which is what most of these rappers need to be doin' they always talkin about whatever the industry tells them to aint no originals anymore and if they are they are still wack cuz they only care to promote themselves not God. im hopin that my album will drop by next spring or summer hopfully. if there is anything else yall want ot no hit me up im always down to talk to whoever and if u see me on the streets come talk to me i dont care stay up pray up yall!
