Many people have passions for various things in life.For Elvin aka Jellybeanx,his passion for music was more of an obsession from a very young age.Music lessons taught him one thing that he would never forget - no one enjoys experiencing music performed by an individual who had no obvious interest in what they were playing. Before too long, the tiresome hours of half hearted practicing and bad sheet music were distant memories.This was not the end for Elvin but rather the beginning. As he grew up in the suburbs of Kuching,Sarawak music was the soundtrack to his life, and it was literally never was turned off or played at respectable volume. His first experience with electronic music was in 1999 and although shunned by most of his peers at the time, there was something that kept him coming back for more. Spending countless hours trying to purchase new tracks and compilations to satiate his ears was a new formed passion, but it would be a long time before he could truly begin to share this with his friends.Sometime in late 2006, all of the pieces fell into place when he and some friends stumbled across a large club in Kuala Lumpur. It was with this first experience with such a powerful atmosphere that had so many people spiritually involved in a certain type of music all brought together and taken on a journey by a DJ. A month later,Elvin found himself back to his everyday school life back in Kuching and that din’t satisfy his thrist for more and more music.About a year later, DJ Jellybeanx found himself with his first gig at a street party down at his hometown,moving the crowd up and down. Since then, he had always been trying to do music for music and not for the fame nor fortune. Jellybeanx aims to create a sound that is unique, not only to himself as a DJ, but also for those who lend him their ears.
