About Me
for those of you just tuning in, stackedrecords.com is a just starting, austin-tx-based independant multi-media label founded about 2 years ago by brett bradford of scratch acid and max brody from ministry as a way to release their old band's (sangre de toro's) music, as well as their spin-off projects (such as areola 51, insect sex act or naugahyde dream sequence, etc...). it took them a while, but they actually made stackedrecords a legitimate business, like all real and legal and stuff.then more recently they enticed their web-page maker and old musician-buddy lance farley (honky) to join forces with them, and decided to widen the scope of the label to encompass 'whatever cool multi-media shit we want'.stacked is already a part time home to other heavyweight austin musicians, such as jeff pinkus (butthole surfers), biscuit turner (big boys), jason craig (pocketfishermen), paul barker (ministry), mike scaccia (ministry), jimbo yongue (daddylonghead), and many more... and the list is starting to grow...recent additions include new york city music veterans victor poison-tete (rat at rat r) and stu spasm (lubricated goat)!we really appreciate the patience that many of you have had, and we will be open for business soon. really...honest.OUR INITIAL RELEASES WILL BE:naugahyde dream sequence-s/t
