it takes me a long time to read a book...i have to absorb every word of every sentence, sometimes up to five times...or more. i tend to become so enmeshed in what i am reading that i view the world through the lens of my current book of choice. this is an interesting process as i read everything from harry potter to chuck palahniuk. my world can become all magic and wizards one week to grotesque monologues and disturbing images the next. most recently i've finished the unbearable lightness of being...so presently everything is so fucking kitsch and puppies named Karenin.
