I'm a designer that wants women to embrace their individual distinction, instead of coveting the style and appearance of others, especially celebrities. We should all appreciate what we have to offer; and trying to be like, look like, or live like someone else is incongruent to being your personal best. Your style is yours, own it.
I'm very good at standing out, being so tall and growing up as one of few blacks in Orange County, California. I've learned to be comfortable being an outlier and use it to my advantage. I don't want to look like anyone else, except me. I have big eyes, big hair, and I'm big in stature. But, I work it and have no problem wearing 3" each heels (making me 6'2, and depending on my hair, I could be 6'4). You gotta work it ladies, work it!!!
