I'm a newlywed. I was born on a cusp. I'm a Gemini & a Cancer. I'm part exhibitionist, part homebody. Extroverted or introverted depending on day and/or shift in the wind. I love practical jokes. I've been known to pull a few stellar ones. I love that feeling when you're laughing so hard you feel like you might cry...and sometimes you do...and it makes you question how strong your grip on reality might be. I love poetry. Not necessarily the pretty kind. I like poetry that jumps off the page & slaps the shit out of you. Or poetry that just quietly digs beneath the skin & roots itself there. I am a poet & a painter & a photographer, although if you ask me what I do I'll say 'I piddle.' I create things. I like to challenge myself. I like to see what new things I can create. I love antiques & cute little vintage somethings. I like taking something ugly & discarded & making it beautiful & useful. I love people with stories. Spoken & unspoken. I like to people watch. I am easily amused. I am loyal. I love backroads & getting lost. I like stomping in mudholes & standing out in the pouring rain. I like honesty. I like knowing what is real about this world. The honest to God bare truth of it all. The beautiful, messy, chaotic, tragic, moving, gritty moments...they're all important. I try not to regret anything. I try to learn & keep going.
