Oliver's Twist

If I could explain my self in one word it would be I sat there writing about walking down a dark sidewalk sometime in mid June. It was sunny and hot and the street lamps are on. I notice that in front of me there is a sprinkler shooting into the sky like the hands of a rake motioning back and forth. The light from a near by store sign is refracted through the water like a prism. Showing only orange yellow red and purple. I walked through it and I felt a drop trickle down my face and separate into rivers. I then saw a strange old friends voice tremble on between the bending electricity. Matthew Matthew it said. A twisting vortex of colours, places, songs and people. They where all a dream. My life that I once loved and cherished so much, just a joke. Just an illusion, I really am just a letter of the alphabet.
