My Interests

For those who don't know, here is the new London mayor, Boris Johnson!! This guy is absolutely hilarious, a wonderful chap, i'm sure he'll do an excellent job! Having a wity politician with plenty of character, a rare pleasure for us here... Hopefully the tide of change in Britain, with Labour losing grip on things, will be followed by similar change in America with Obama moving things forward there... Two fingers crossed! (^_^)

I'd like to meet:

Anyone on MySpace who can make me laugh, has interesting stories to tell about themselves!

Tony Blair... to ask why oh why oh why do you like role-playing as someone else's poodle!??! Oh, and the guy who taught our new prime minister, Gordon Brown, how to smile! Erm, hate to break it to whoever is responsible for that, but the idea is to 'endear' the man to the public, make him nice, not nightmarish! Still gives me the creeps every time I behold it!

***Shudders rather violently*** (now that he actually is prime minister he doesn't have to pretend so much to be like Tony Blair, so he smiles a lot less, thank God!!!)

George Bush - sends me in to hysterics listening to any of his speeches! This guy must be the funniest non-professional comedian in the world! What ever pills they have him on aren't nearly strong enough by the looks of it!

These are lyrics from a great song by Sting, 'Englishman in New York': "If, manners maketh man as someone said Then he's the hero of the day It takes a man to suffer ignorance and smile Be yourself no matter what they say"I think George Bush qualifies as an honorary Englishman based on the third line! suffers massive bouts of ignorance, & won't stop bloody smiling!!!

Music:

Funnily enough, have not listened to too many new English songs in ages! Afraid this guitar rock crap they keep churning out just isn't my style.... Breaking Benjamin is the exception to that rule! Most of the time now I listen to the recently (for me, anyway) discovered wonders of far eastern music, Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, they have some superb artists, put western music to shame!! I am of course referring to superstars like Boa, Koda Kumi, Utada Hikaru, Jolin Tsai, these four beautiful ladies definitely constitute the mainstay of my playlist these days!! ;-) Always on the lookout for other great artists though!
I now have a blog on music, you can see a few of my favourite artists, and I have a playlist on there now, so you can listen to some great songs too! ;-)

You know, it is utterly amazing to think that America might have a chance at getting a president with more than two brain cells! Who doesn’t commit adultery! And doesn’t have a stare like a psychopath! (see Hillary pics…) Lets hope America makes the right decision and gets this guy as president… (^_^) ..
