My PASSIONS The things of God, teaching and spreading the Gospel or Jesus Christ (Yeshua), [despite the many knocks, criticism, and scorn I get for it], starting Bible discussion groups, art, food, film, great conversation and addressing the heart. I love order, I choose my friends by their character, terribly addicted to books, can't end the night without reading, and can't begin the day with out a good hours reading, books everywhere, all over the place. But more so I live to write, which is my true passion, my friends will tell you writing everywhere, on the walls, the fridge, the mirrors, the windows, everywhere, I am writing a book one day I believe, it is just in me to do.

Besides the things of God, I love Jazz, Sushi, the entire world of Ethiopia, anything Japanese or Indian, I love the colour Black and Chinese Red, but I would not wear it (it being red), love to travel, seen much of the world except Asia, love the world of fashion, love to cook and entertain, love to eat (still trying to figure out how I am not over 300 £'s) love to build, you just have to see my flat. Love truth, integrity, humility and character, I love it when people do not use vulgarity, most of all I love LOVE, and I adore children, they make my heart cry, leap and skip, get me in a room with a child they don't want to go home, like puppies I wish they would not grow up. With all that said, at the age of 50 I would love to exit earth, go to sleep and never to awake (gosh that is 7 more year to go), yep! leave this earth and head HOME to to my final destination, to finally fall into the arms of my Maker.

Standing For Christ (Yeshua): No Regrets
Christians have always had to stand on truth in the face of opposition to Christ (Yeshua). At times we have offended others for standing our ground and not compromising our convictions in order to appease others, we have been the brunt of every joke, the bulls eye, rather than have others mock our faith and accuse us of compromise, in order to them hear what they want to hear, you know, what is digestible, instead of what they need to hear for their own good. In an age where morality is not longer the standard, and anything goes, It is much easier to accuse the Christian of being judgemental in order to deflect from their indiscretions. For some Christians, that means loss of life, for others that means loss of family, status, or income, and for others it means a loss of heritage in some sense. While God calls some to face more difficult challenges than others, all who live godly in Christ Jesus (Yeshua) will suffer persecution as stated in (2 Tim. 3:12). Even if certain suffering does not rise to the level of persecution, it is still difficult and normal to suffer for the sake of the Gospel.

Bearers of Truth Regardless of Context
Christians deal in truth, not error, half-truth, hearsay, or speculation. The cause of Christ (Yeshua) is hindered when "pofessing" christians (those who are not actually living the doctrine) fail to articulate a faithful biblical position, when they fail to explicate Scripture carefully, or when they speak to issues and fail to examine facts or evidence and simply speak out of narrow personal experience. A primary reason Christians leaders garner little hearing these days is their propensity to speak in such a specious way.

The Cost of Being a Christian (one who walks with his God)
Christians who want to be salt and light in this culture must ensure that their lifestyle, associational, and other choices do not contradict their claim if they do not want to be hypocritical or otherwise marginalised and dismissed by Christians and non-Christians alike. Too often we rationalise our associations from minds that have been more influenced by the culture than Scripture. Being in the world but not of the world is that biblical virtue that is so often ignored or misapplied. After all, it was the Lord Himself who told us to count the cost before taking up with Him (Lk. 14:25f). Thankfully, more Christians are recognising the need for consistency in their lives despite the cost

In every culture certain words are considered to be profane and individuals use them to either express themselves in what they consider to be the strongest way possible, or in such a way that is intended to shock or buck the established authority. At the same time, words of this nature often find their way into regular usage by those who don't have the education to express themselves in creative ways. Others simply enjoy speaking in a vulgar way. Sadly, when a particular group uses language in this way and has influence in the culture at large, then that which was once unacceptable in the main becomes acceptable in the same.
