The Traumatix started back in 05 with two other members (Mike and Jim) we put some stuff together and decided to pick up a fourth member; bassist (nightcrawler). We played out in the michigan area for two years and lost our bassist because he no longer had time to play shows. We went back to the original trio; to continue performing with a low end I (Nicholas) ran my guitar through a Peavey bass amp with a bass overdrive pedal. This worked very well for the remaining months before the rest of the band had kids and moved away. Now it's just me looking for a drummer to keep things simple. I am now running my guitar through one bass amp and one guitar amp with an octave splitter for the low end. I have an over abundance of pedals, I believe in guitar effects but only use them in suttle accents on riffs. I am looking for a drummer influenced by jazz, the blood brothers, and the sound of mechanical beings. If you or anyone you know is interested in trying it out, send me a message.
