About Me

Hi, I'm a drummer who has been playing in the Atlanta area for the past few years. I love to beat the drums and be a part of bands with people who want to work with me to produce a GREAT show. The first song (Reservations) is a recording I did with Moral High Gene. The next few songs on this site were created as part of an improv session with The Dana Plato Experience. Please excuse my mistakes - I'm not the greatest at improv!! Finally, below is a clip from 500 Songs for Kids at Smith's Olde Bar that I did with the band Why the Fly in '08. Other hobbies and interests besides music that keep me out of trouble are running, cycling, weight training, tennis, reading, and hanging out with friends. I also love extreme sports. I have done a triathlon and two half marathons. I also enjoy discussing and learning about new topics in science, politics, and philosophy. I love to live a healthy lifestyle, meet new people, keep in touch with old and new friends, play with my dog Red, enjoy nature (mainly by off-road running deep in the woods), meditating, debating politics and current events, being close with my family, eating good food (and then burning it off of course!), programming firmware for printed circuit boards (I am an Electrical Engineer as well as an aspiring musician), travelling, and writing. Why the Fly - mmmBop
