Oh, my, this could be interesting. Music is my passion. Relient K is my absolute favorite band! Other than that, you can find me listening to Daughtry, Kutless, Switchfoot, Skillet, Jon McLaughlin, Chris Tomlin, Disciple, Phil Wickham, Rush of Fools, Fighting Instinct, the David Crowder Band, the Common Ground Band, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Jeremy Camp, TobyMac, DC Talk, the Fray, the Jonas Brothers, Brandon Heath, Third Day, Disciple, Stellar Kart, Brad Paisley, Josh Turner, Seventh Day Slumber, John Reuben, Building 429, Krystal Meyers, Red, Eleventyseven, Casting Crowns, Kieth Urban, Tim McGraw, etc. This could go on forever. I am known for saying repeatedly, "THIS is a good song!"
Movies:
A Walk to Remember, The Notebook, The Guardian, Wild Hogs, Bourne Ultimatum, Ocean's 11 and 12, Grease, Hairspray. If it's a sappy love story I'll like it. I also like a good laugh or scare. I like comedies if they are really funny and I love scary movies if they are actually scary. Haven't seen a good one in a while.
Television:
Grey's Anatomy, American Idol, House, One Tree Hill.
Books:
The Bible, anything by Karen Kingsbury, Know What You Believe, Lady in Waiting...Becoming God's Best While Waiting for Mr. Right (this is the best book I have read in a long time), After the Leaves Fall (this book is so much me it isn't even funny). I love to read and have tons of books.
Heroes:
Of course, my main hero is Jesus. "After all the stupid things I did, there's nothing left there to forgive, because you already forgave me...". I can't imagine why any person would want to die, not just die, but be brutally beaten, mocked, and crucified, for such a horrible person as myself. I could not have asked for a better life, yet don't deserve one. Although I could never repay what you have done for me, I will try daily to live out Your purpose for my life and strive to be better. You are the reason I have breath. I also incredibly admire my Grandmother. She has overcome so many things in her life. I only hope to have lived as much as she has and to have had the life experiences she has when all is said and done.
