Korexion wins the Juno Awards held in Saskatoon, SK., Canada.It is a rare and compelling occasion when a musical artist captures and expresses the sentiments of a generation. It is even so less common when the artist expands his horizons to make an impact on society, creating a union between music and life. Korexion (pronounced cor-rec-tion) is undoubtedly among this very select, very small group.Jamaican-born Keipher Scott a.k.a Korexion draws upon reggae, hip-hop and pop styles to create an appealing musical hybrid. He is classified as an artist on a mission to spread love and reggae music amongst the world’s people.Formerly in the duo Two Of A Kind, Korexion is now on a winning converts with his new EP title, “Xratedâ€. “He has earned his space here,†praises reggae great Sly Dunbar.Korexion has been performing both locally and internationally delighting audiences in various places around the world. With that sweet vocal voice from Korexion, reggae music doesn’t come sweeter. As a songwriter, Korexion has also scored major hits such as “It’s All Bless, Don’t Go†and “Xrated†featuring Jamaican artist Danny English. He is also fluently expressive and imaginative when it comes to his deliverance.His smash debut single “It’s All Bless†made its way across the globe. Japan, the UK, USA, the Caribbean and Canada all showed support for the project by gracing the airwaves with the song in high rotation.With the roots of his talent stemming from Trench Town, Jamaica, Korexion has been musically educated amongst some of Jamaica’s reggae pioneers within the music industry. Korexion was raised in a family whose tradition centred on music. In fact most of his family members are respected and accomplished vocalists and musicians. Now residing in Canada, Korexion has taken his musical message international. In his performance he has lived up to his reputation; pointing out and correcting injustice amongst the world’s people.Since completing his studies at the University of Toronto within the Bachelor of Commerce degree program, Korexion has been focusing more on his art of music hoping to create head waves within the world market using Reggae as his tool.
