About Me

I was born and raised in Northwest Indiana about 20 minutes outside of downtown Chicago. I'm polish and slovak..mostly slovak. Every since I was a little kid I wanted to work for the railroad..No kidding. Anyways, I've worked for the South Shore railroad about 3 years now, hiring in as a car cleaner and moving to a terminal carman position and more recently transfering to Transportation Dept where I'm now a Collector/Brakeman. In the back of my mind I've always had an interest in Law Enforcement and I've gone as far as applying with the Indiana State Police last year..who knows, perhaps I'll move on to bigger and better things.I continue to smoke, Marlboro, against the advice of the wise I favor Jack and coke as my choice of poison on occasion but not(usually)to excess.I collect model police cars, Model trains, and old fedora hats as well as other Railroadiana items. Also, I love photography as my photos section shows, hopefully soon I'll have my black and whites on there. I favor the decade of the 1940's. Sometimes I feel I was born in the wrong decade. I love movies and music as you can see below.
