In the midst of life we are in death etc

About Me

Hello. Life has just begun for me apparently......about time too! I live in deepest, darkest Essex in a sleepy market town, which suits me just fine. I share my home with my long suffering wife of many years, Debbie, and our two sons, Joe and Ben. Founder member and one time drummer and backing crooner with TDO (we were legendary in the backwaters of East Anglia where people don't get out much.)I enjoy a glass or two of red wine or the odd pint of Murphys or Guinness, or the occasional Scotch - in fact I'll drink anything if it's free -  although in moderation these days due to my pathetically low alcohol tolerance threshold, or high intolerance threshold. However, if eating potato crisps was an Olympic event, I would win a gold medal. The same applies to Bassets Liquorice Allsorts.I used to like trains when I was younger; big, noisy diesel ones, until I discovered girls and alcohol. It's been downhill ever since really.
