I'm a York city bum. Live downtown, eat downtown, breathe downtown. It usually smells funny but I find my getaways tucked inside the little nooks and crannies that seem so well hidden here. I've spent more time in Sparky and Clarks on W. Market St. (the only true Sparkys) than any other place in the entire world. Roasting coffee there part time has very little to do with time spent cozy on the couch in deep philisophical debate or meaningless smalltalk with anyone who may have the fortunate pleasure of sitting across the coffee table from me. God makes for good conversation. Dreams make for good conversation as well. So many people are willing to ramble on about their dreams and yet will never shed a spark of light into their personal life. Wait, this is the "about me" section so I'll continue talking about me.
Life is good. I enjoy York. There are lots of other places I would love to be and hope to visit every single one of them. But right now I'm here and right now I'm happy. I play my guitar and sing every now and then. People seem to enjoy it so I play for them sometimes as well. I've been kind of slack on the whole songwriting deal. I'll pick back up here shortly. I find city folk amusing, the really weird ones that everyone else is afraid of. The ones that yell and scream down the street or point their finger at every person as they walk by. I dream often and in color. I had a few significant dreams growing up but it wasn't until about 5 years ago I began having a ton of dreams. I'll have to write a blog about it at some point. I love taking showers in the middle of the day. Not right after waking up or right before going to bed, but like right smack dab in the middle of the day. I don't know why I added that. There's a guy in town that walks around doing karate-kung-fu moves down the street. I said hi to him once. He swung at me. He missed and I wasn't worried about him hitting me. Another time I saw him I said hi again. He said hi back. He looked like a lost little child missing his mom. They all have a story to be told and I want to know them all.
